5 Places We're excited to take Cans! - Boise Brewing

5 Places We’re excited to take Cans!

We’re going to be real with you..this winter has been rough (unless you’re Canadian, in which case you’re thankful that Idaho actually had a real winter. And that we have poutine). And since Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, legend has it the chill isn’t going away quite yet.

One of the silver linings here at the brewery? We started canning! Which means Boise Brewing beer just got a whole lot more portable.

To give you something to look forward to, we came up with a list of where we can’t wait to take Syringa and Snowboarder cans this winter and beyond.

5 Places We’re Excited to Take Cans:

Hitting the Slopes1. The Slopes

Celebrating a great run with a can of Snowboarder Porter? Yes please! Even if you’re a Nordic or downhill skier, we promise Snowboarder still tastes great. An upside to all the snow is we still have plenty of time to get up to the mountains!

Hot Springs

2. Hot Springs

Taking a soak after snowshoeing doesn’t get much better…except with a can in hand. We want to check out the hike-to-hot-springs everyone keeps talking about…

Rock Climbing3. Climbing

The Black Cliffs might not be accessible yet, but fortunately, we’ve got awesome indoor climbing gyms in Boise. Whether it’s Urban Ascent or bouldering at Asana’s new location, cracking a Syringa after mastering a tricky route sounds like our cup of tea..er, beer.

Bike rides4. Bike rides

We know better than to use the trails when they’re muddy, so while you might not be able to climb Hard Guy until the spring, the Greenbelt is mostly snow-free now, so you can build up that endurance. We knew those drink holders weren’t just for water bottles…

Outdoor Concerts

5. Outdoor Concerts

They may still be a few months out, but we’re all dreaming about those summer music festivals, and it’s the perfect time to start planning which ones to go to. Pack that picnic basket with a Syringa and Snowboarder six-pack, and Santana is going to sound even sweeter come June.

Ok, we’re feeling better already. What better way to beat cabin fever and get motivated to take part in everything Idaho has to offer? Oh, right– with good beer.
